I am part of a small walking group that has several dogs and meets several other friends in the park daily. These treats are very popular with all the doggies, and even the picky puppies enjoy them.

LOVE these

My dog loves these treats and I love them because they're small and low calorie so for training they're perfect and they're 95% whatever protein your dog prefers - mine loves rabbit. Or duck. My only issue is that buying directly from the manufacturer is $3 more expensive than buying from the local pet store and the shipping is expensive. My pet store was out. I haven't noticed any diminished quality but we haven't gone through all that I ordered.

Hit or miss

My dog often loves these treats. However, with the latest batch, all the items were burnt, hard, and seemed stale. My dog spit some of the treats out. Other shipments seems to have a better outcome. Unfortunately, I ordered 6 packages (including venison and rabbit) and all of them were burned and/or stale.

Quality declining - DISAPPOINTIN

I have been giving these treats to my dog for years and the quality has declined significantly with my last couple of orders. The treats were discolored and were too hard for my small dog to eat.

Hi Amanda!
We apologize that you've been disappointed with our venison bites lately. We have heard additional feedback about this product and have been working closely with our supplier to ensure a continuous standard of high quality products. We would absolutely like to offer you a free bag of a different product if you'd like! I highly recommend the freeze dried products that we carry, they're softer for small dogs. If that's something you're interested, please reach out, and also let us know if you have any additional questions or feedback!
Have a fantastic new year,
The Natural Dog Company

not as expected

These are supposed to be light chew meter and they are very, very hard. I can't even break the large ones in half. I use them as a puppy training treat and need to break them. I have purchased these in a store near me and they were much easier to break. Not sure if they were old or there was a whoile oin the bag which might have hardened them but I was not happy with this purchase. (and I purchased 2 bags. ugh

Hi Mary Ann,
I'm sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your purchase. We have experienced a lot of challenges with shipping and logistics, so those bites have been taking longer to arrive. We believe that plus higher baking temperatures being used by vendors, to expedite production, are the cause of the increased hardness you're noticing. Our customer service team has already reached out to you and will take care of this problem. Thank you so much for providing your valuable feedback!
