Description: Unlike many other yak cheese chews on the market, ours are made with yak's milk only, with no added cow's milk!

Chew Meter: Tough. This durable chew starts out hard and will soften as your dog chews it over time. If your dog breaks off small pieces, you can microwave the yak cheese remnants for 30 seconds and turn them into a cheese puff!

Ingredients: Yak milk, salt, lime juice.

The Absolute Best

Our GSD just celebrated his first birthday and these are the only yak cheese chews that will last him more than one sitting. We have purchased EVERY brand of yak cheese out there and he demolishes them immediately. The biggest difference between The Natural Dog Company and the other brands is that TNDC only uses yak's milk in their chew, I believe this creates a stronger and more long lasting chew while everyone else mixes yak and cow's milk in their's. The addition of the cow's milk ruins the integrity of the chew. If he drops these chews while he is walking around the house, they don't break in half like the other brands. Our GSD also has the most sensitive stomach that I have ever seen in a dog, so these are the only chews that he enjoys that don't mess with his tummy. I have searched far and wide online, at pet stores, pet boutique shops... everywhere for a more budget-friendly alternative, but these are simply the absolute best. They are very expensive and each chew will last him 2-3 days, if we are lucky, but I'm thankful that The Natural Dog Company only uses yak's milk in their chews. Please don't ever stop making these, our guy and our Westie girl really love them :).
