Our Wavy Collagen is less processed and more easily digestible when compared to traditional dog rawhide chews. These Wavy Collagen are made from a layer of tissue called the dermis, which is nutritious (made of about 70% collagen) and has a firm and elastic texture.

This Wavy Collagen is a 6" chew with 12" of chewing surface thanks to its wavy shape. The total length will vary from piece to piece.

They were great, until they weren't.

I bought a few of these from our local Muddbay based on one of the associates' suggestions.

The first couple were amazing. They lasted about an hour to 1.5 hrs. I was really impressed with how well they cleaned the plaque off our dogs' teeth.

Our dogs are ALWAYS supervised when chewing on bones for their safety.

Just a warning: They have had a few of these in the past with now problem, and I have two more left that I am going to donate.

I looked in my dogs mouth the morning after to brush her teeth, and I noticed her right canine is bruised, and the top of the tooth is swollen.

I emailed our vet to see what we need to do. But, it's most likely going to be a massive vet bill to get the tooth pulled and a root canal. There is really no coming back from a bruised tooth. She is not an old dog, and has good overall oral health. I have owned dogs all my life, and I have never ever dealt with a bruised tooth.

This is going to cost me a couple thousand dollars to resolve on my poor girl.

Please just be advised, and WATCH your dog and their teeth while chewing on these.
