As a natural pet store, your specialty products and dedication to your customers are what make you stand out more than anything else. Request educational materials from your distributors and manufacturers so you and your staff can brush up on your products. Your suppliers will be able to provide you with the most important information and talking points.
And don’t just educate your staff, let your customers know about your great products, too! Take the information you have and turn it into social media posts, marketing emails, flyers, and other materials. Let your customers know that you can offer them something other stores can’t: expert service and natural, specialty pet products.
Who doesn’t love free stuff? If you want your customers’ pets to get hooked on your great products, a free sample may be just the way to do it. Sometimes, natural products come with a higher price tag, which can make some pet owners look elsewhere.
